This semester, classes will break down into three separate 5-week seminars, each focusing on one central aspect of writing. During each seminar, writers will have the opportunity to present one piece for critique. In addition, each week will cover one writing technique which writers will be able to practice during take-home assignments. <br />

This course will follow the classic workshop structure, where students will hand out short stories or sections of a longer work for the class to read and critique. In addition to the workshop, there will be weekly readings and short lectures on important aspects of writing craft such as: character, plot, setting and dialogue.<br />
